How to STOP Flash messages on Airtel

Lately the Airtel subscribers are getting Flash advertisement messages (SMS) on their mobiles.
To stop those annoying messages -

1. In your phone settings locate ‘airtel live!’ menu.
2. Then ‘airtel now!’
2. Select Start/Stop > Stop.

Repair a Pen Drive (usb drive)

I remove the device while data still being written and end up with unusable device.
The device was showing up as “XXXXXXXX U167CONTROLLER USB Device”. I couldn’t format or repair it.

Anna Hazare refused to take medicine

Fasting Anna Hazare on Tuesday refused to take any medicine and warned government against trying to forcibly evict him from the protest site of Ramlila Maidan.

Hazare, who appeared before thousands of his supporters late tonight, said the team of doctors headed by Naresh Trehan had said in the afternoon that he had some problems in his kidney and that he should take some medicine.

Trehan advised Hazare to get hospitalised but the Gandhian, who has been fasting for more than a week, refused to do so.

“The entire team has examined Anna Hazare. There are changes in his vital signs. We told him that he needs hospitalisation. But he refused saying I want to be here with the people and asked for intravenous drips to be put on him here only,” Trehan said.

Hours later, Hazare told his supporters: “I told him then that I would decide by 10pm after listening to my conscience. My conscience asked me why are you afraid of dying. You had earlier said that you are not afraid of dying, then why are you scared of dying now.”

“I have decided not to take any medicine. I would ask Dr Trehan and others not to mistake me in this regard.

Please do not mistake me for (not taking the medicine),” he said.

He also warned the government against trying to remove him forcibly from the protest site.

“If someone from government comes here to evict me forcibly you people should go and block the gate. But you should be peaceful,” the frail-looking Hazare told the cheering crowd.

Noting that doctors are worried about his health, Hazare said: “If something happens to me, the government will understand… Even if my kidney fails, there are many people here who will give theirs. If one Anna dies, thousands of Annas’ who will rise.”

“I have given my heart and I am ready to give my life also,” he said.

Trehan also said the team will once again review the condition of 74-year-old Hazare, whose glucose level is declining, tomorrow morning after which a medical bulletin will be issued.

Hazare has lost 5.6 kg since he began his fast on August 16, his close associate Manish Sisodia told reporters here in the morning.

Traces of ketone were also found in his blood. In the evening, he had said Hazare’s health is fine and there was no need to worry.

Earlier, doctors had advised Hazare not to venture into the sun as it could have a negative impact on his health.

CBSE spokesperson Rama Sharma said the results will be available on CBSE websites. An email alert can also be created for the results through the board’s website.

“The results will also be available on IVRS number and through SMS,” Sharma said.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Class X Result Exam Results at the end this week.Candidates can get their results either by the official CBSE Results website i.e www.cbseresults.nic.in or by Email. Starting from this year, Class X students will be awarded GRADES from A1 TO E2. For instance, all students scoring in the range of 91% to 100% will get an AI grade while those with an aggregate between 81% and 90% will get an A2. Post Result Tele-Counselling

The counselling will begin from the 23rd May and will continue upto 6th June 2011. Students can dial a toll free number 1800 11 7002 from any part of the country which will give centralized access to CBSE helpline

Students will get grade points (GP) and a cumulative grade point average (CGPA). For every subject, the students will obtain a corresponding grade on the basis of which they will receive a cumulative grade point average.

CGPA will help the schools allocate different streams to students in Class XI. The system of grading will not be fair to students who score high marks, CGPA will come handy there. Students can check their percentage using the iCBSE Percentage Calculator.

How it Works:

Grades on a 9-point scale
Range from A1 (excellent) to E2 (dis-satisfactory)
D is the minimum pass grade A1 – above 91 score; B1 – 81 to 90; D – 33 to 40; E1 and E2 – below 33
Grades also carry equivalent points – 10 for A1 to 4 for D
Exact marks not to be revealed, but these points can be multiplied with 9.5 to get the average marks represented by grades
A1 will be equal to 95; A2 – 85.5; B1 – 76, B2 – 66.5; C1 – 57; C2 – 47.5
D will be equal to 38

Supernatural season 7

In Supernatural season 7, Sam and Dean Winchester will have to deal with the fact that their angel friend, Castiel, is now the “new God,” and having all that power is definitely not a good thing.

Sera Gamble revealed:

“We had everyone on the writing staff watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. [Executive producer] Bob [Singer], [series creator] Eric [Kripke] and I were really hungry to capture some of that cowboy, outlaw spirit for Sam and Dean [next season].” Now that sounds like one fun theme.

Based on this and the Supernatural spoilers about what’s coming up for the Winchesters next season, it’s no surprise that the next logical thought is that Sam and Dean will be on the run from Castiel, but Gamble has hinted at possible redemption for the once-Angel, now-God: “I would consider Cas, in the last few minutes of the finale, to have been transformed. We try to be realistic about the fact that people on this show do cross lines that can’t be uncrossed. But we examine those things in terms of Sam and Dean. They have a tremendous capacity to move forward. We always look for the chance to have redemption.” It does seem pretty hard to come back from becoming the new God and telling your (possibly now former) friends that you’re not family and if they don’t “profess their love” for you, you’ll destroy them.

Is there hope for Castiel? He has already killed Balthazar and Raphael (and the parallel to Lucifer killing Castiel with a snap of the fingers was chilling) and has stated he has plans for Crowley and Raphael’s followers. What will Castiel have done when season 7 begins? When will season 7 begin? Seasons 2 and 5 picked up right where 1 and 4 ended, while there were time jumps between seasons 2 and 3, 3 and 4, and the biggest jump (one year) between 5 and 6. How much more will Castiel have done in his new form? Will the Winchesters be able to figure out how to stop him – whether that’s killing him or getting rid of all that power he now has? If they have to resort to killing him, what can kill him? The angel blade obviously has no effect anymore, as Sam, Dean, and Bobby learned in the last minutes of “The Man Who Knew Too Much.”
