HTC has been widely working over smartphone market with its recent arrivals in different budget categories. Looking upon budget specifications, HTC has strived for being versatility with number of high end smartphone features available in each model. Although, the price and availability of the HTC One (M8) smartphone is yet to declare. The Taiwanese smartphone maker has introduced new budget smartphone HTC Desire 210 Dual SIM and the mid-range HTC Desire 816.
The HTC Desire 210 has been nominally priced at Rs. 8,700 while the HTC Desire 816 will be available at Rs. 23,990. Both models will be arriving soon in the market, by the end of April month or May starting. As the name suggests, HTC Desire 210 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with company’s Sense UI on top. It comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and supports one Micro-SIM and takes another regular sized SIM.
On the other hand, HTC Desire 816 comes with a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, alongside 1.5GB of RAM. It includes 8GB of inbuilt storage with support for microSD cards up to 128GB. Notably, HTC announced the mid-range Desire smartphone, the Desire 816 at the sidelines of MWC, alongside the HTC Desire 610.
