Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime might be launching this June

By mobile No Comments

Certainly, Samsung Galaxy S5 will come as a popular addition for Samsung’s smartphone investors. But one thing has always been in question that why Samsung accelerates smartphone launch leaving no space for a recent entry to grab customers’ attention on the whole. As Galaxy S5 has hardly been able to make up space in smartphone market, Samsung is rumoured to have its premium version as early as this June, according to sources. The new arrival with better specifications, Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, might include a 2560×1440 display (better than the full HD screen on the GS5) along with an eight-core processor for unwavering performance. Possibly, Galaxy S5 Prime will have a metallic finish case unlike GS5 plastic appearance. In reference to the Samsung Galaxy fans, GS5 was expected to have a swanky aluminum body befitting its flagship which you will see more likely in GS5 Prime version.

Besides all this, the question to Samsung Galaxy S5 success is still the same. Samsung has been looking for more premium device to help making higher margins on top-end device sales which could be the reason for frequent smartphone entries. For those looking to own a smartphone, get the one that fits best to the expectations and not to the versions added now or later in the market. Besides this, efforts to appeal emerging markets with low-cost handsets is best served with the idea to have new versions in race. So the bottom line is, this gadget is still very much in the realm of speculation to predict its effect on the Korean phone makers.

Nokia XL Launching in India Later this Month: An Insight

By mobile No Comments

Nokia was one way or other lagged out of the smartphone race. While struggling with Nokia Lumia Series, the company has strived to grab market share in last couple of years. Whereas Samsung and other smartphone providers have been doing really well in this arena. Besides the brand goodwill, people have been nostalgic for battery related issues found in smartphone usage which Nokia has tried to fulfill with the new Android version planned to launch later this month. As promised, Nokia is launching the Android-powered Nokia XL smartphone in the Indian market. The phone sports a 5-inch display and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor with 768MB of RAM. The phone offers the same software experience as offered by the Nokia X but is essentially targeted at users who want a bigger display.

Nokia XL looks more likely the enlarged version of Nokia X. The phone has same rectangular design and a polycarbonate colourful casing, which feels a bit heavy weighing around 190gram. This has been said that the phone will have a solid yet durable appearance but we did not observe any squeaks other than the phone features a removable back cover along with other highlights. There’s a pull-down tray similar to Android and Asha phones that only houses toggles for phone settings. The User Interface may take a bit more time than other used-to Samsung UIs, however, it helps Nokia in differentiating the user experience from other Android phones.
